Okay, so this is a severely late post, but I had one of the more fun nights in recent memory April 28 over at Noir at the Bar in the STL. Â Jed couldn’t be a finer host, and it was awesome meeting fellow readers Cort McMeel, Les Edgerton and David James Keaton. As well as finally getting to meet stop-in pals Frank Bill and Matthew J. McBride.

Despite golf ball sized hail, words and liquored flowed through the wee hours.

Lundy's Eat Week 3, 4 and 5

Okay, got a bit too busy eating to post. (And drawing some.)

But, kicked off Day 3 with the bleu cheese and bacon mussels at Westport Cafe and Bar, which is kinda like a sammich but with shells instead of bread.

Then off to Cupini’s for a dose of pizza with a side of amazing Italian beef sammich.

Day 4 was taking the nephew out to the Vale Mansion and then this monstrosity of a sundae at Clinton’s Soda Fountain in Independence. Â (Poor kid got filled fulla chips, biscuits, gravy, ice cream and a burger/fries AND coffee in like 20 hours. I don’t think he can sleep still…)

Day 5 was the tuna bacon melt with white bean chili over at Grinder’s followed by Westport Street Fare short rib quesadilla (unpitchered). Â No idea why I’m gassy at 1 AM….
